In the UT menu go to multiplayer > find internet games.
There's three tabs for M:R click on them and wait a bit. If a server doesn't show, it's because there isn't any available for that gametype, try the other tabs aswell. Ver 1.1.1 had the pfhor staff. I don't know how you acquire it in the demo.
