SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
to move?"
"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

120 deg. Longitude west
Posted By: [Inky$] Date: 2002.7.15.22.38
Anyone know where these rampant AI's are local to? Possibly California or Washington?
What if the 120 signifies the longitudal line on a globe of the earth. Isn't 120 degrees west longitude on the west coast somewhere? Thereby, possibly aligning the left hand side of the map on the 120 degree mark, say LA(near 120) or somesuch, possibly the map could make sense. I think that 120 degrees west longitude is also the Pacific Time Zone, no?
Alas, after an hour of searching, I couldn't find a map with suitable longitudal lines. Closest I could come to was that Oxnard, Wasco, Delano, and Tulare(in California) are pretty damn close to the Pacific Time Zone. Tulare actually being on it. Of course, this doesn't take in to effect the curvature of the longitudal line(just drew a straight line with paintshop).
