SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

The weapons are very similar to those in Marathon 2, and if Bungiee did it, it cannot be wrong. I sorta liked the old assult rifle (Beta and Marathon 1) except rotary weapons went out of computer games when people realised that they, in reality, were prone to jamming and henceforth, useless.

But bring on Marathon, after its release it took nearly four years for any other game to include a secondary trigger. A few included a motion detector, and a couple envisioned the weapons used. So many games around today have a distinct "Marathon portion", good examples are Half Life, UT and UT 2003 is including an assult rifle similar to that in Marathon.

We all have our own opinion.
