comparizon arent realy good since this is a different weapon type running on a salvo style for firing and using advanced weapon chambering systems
the wierd form explains that, take a marine m-16 and rechamber it for caseless ammo you will see the difference

anyway they chose caselese here because of the firing speed,
its hard to eject 2000cases per minute.
this gun is the maine miltary weapon style, its fighting for big american contracts against the company that makes the gun that looks like the marathon assault rifle wich i have forgoten almost everything about.:( (other then it seperates into 2 different weapons)
the gun itself makes me think, it cant be so good since they have to compare it to the G3 A3 to get an advantage.
but that image realy shows the evolution of ammo during the ages, you got the old yet precise G3 A3 wich uses ammo big enough to take down a horse (think about what it does to a human being), the M16 A2 wich is a modern combat weapon with ammo sientificaly designed to take down a soldier without necesarely killing him (wounded soldiers slow down armies and take up suplies) doing this by launching a large quantity of bullets in the general area of the enm
and then this super rifle with ammo just big enough to take em down (i dont care what you say but any size ammo realy makes a soldier think about the value of his army career when it's loged in his leg (not to mention give it a new found love for the term cover:)) contrary to the movies, it only takes 1 bullet to stop a soldier even if it hits somewere unimportant.
