SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Hi all, im from germany so excuse my bad spelling etc ;)
i've played marathon1 demo for a long time on my mac lcII
i think it was the first time i ever played fps, at that time i where only hmmm dont know really 12 - 14 jears old, but i was totally fascinated by that game, i'd never heard bout mouse aiming,it took me about a week to activate the first switches at the first levels, but i was completely overwhelmed.
Later i bought Marathon infinity in this nice looking silver box, i played it alot, bot i only had a Performa 650 (dont know exactly the name but i think performa is right) which was unable to run the game with more than 5 fps.
I moved over to pc (blame on me) but i had no other chance, i couldn afford a new mac, pc is low cost...
I forgot marathon and the hours of playing it, but,
then i saw an article about this mod project @ planetunreal.
Now im playing marathon ressurection. its great.

THX, and keep the good work on ! :))))
