SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Well, that's already implemented....

That's one of the reasons I set up the #mar channel.

If you're on the irc.utgames.com #mar channel using UT's built in chat client, and you see someone is in the channel, but they don't respond to you in the main channel, simply PM them. You PM someone by double-clicking on their name at the right of your screen. A new tab will appear with their name, click on that, then type a short message, i.e., "how about a game of M:R..." That message will appear, even if they are already in a UT game -- within the UT engine, provided they too are using UT's built-in IRC.

Again -- that's the main reason I set up the #mar channel.

Cheers,
