Recoil question...

I wonder if it's just me, openGL, GeForce3 card or if it's just something with the M:R beta...

When I fire like the pistol, my guy jerks back instantaneously a notch. When firing the AR, he jerks back with each bullet. Other weapons etc etc.

This feels 'bad'... very disorienting... nowhere near the smooth pushback like in marathon or UT proper. (I have to also note the kickback on the AR is just way tooo much). Like I said, dunno if its just my setup, or if this is something being worked on and others experience it. I did a search here for "recoil" and didnt find any posts about it.

In short: I really don't like it. It makes the already jittery openGL feel even more jittery... and when connected on a server, it makes it feel like I am getting seriously poor ping performance or something.
