SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: It occurs to me that that would be a freaking cool map to
: play on in Marathon: Ressurection, but it'd probably
: be completely impossible with the UT engine, huh?

I've contemplated making this map but enhancing it. The original basically had two maps folded into the same space. I was thinking about making a version with four or five maps folded together.

: Other than that, love the mod, even if I've never once
: been able to find a server for it. But hey, that's
: what bots are for.

I've got a public server running right now. You should be able to find it in your server browser, although you'll have to search through the list of all UT servers (unless you've made yourself a custom browser tab). Once you've got the new version you'll have a server browser tab for every MR gametype, so finding my server should be a piece of cake. It's not passworded, but downloads are turned off. That means you can't login to it until you get the same version of the mod and maps as are running there.

And you'll get those pretty soon. :-)
