powerups in mars needs women

just a question or two:

In mars needs women, what happened to the 3 powerups on the top floor (the invisibility, quasi-night vision, and that weird perception-altering trippy thing)?

I was also wondering if there's a better way to know when invincibility has worn off than suddenly noticing that when you're being shot (and running headlong into people using the missile launcher) you're actually getting hurt. Maybe that glimmer that everyone keeps talking about would help...
