Due to some security reason, sometimes you have to disable Avast. For that, first, open the notification toolbar and then, right-click on the Antivirus icon for option list associated with the security suite. Now, click on the Avast Shields control and then select the option to choose how long you want to disable the software. Once you select the option, then you will be prompted to the confirmation of the operation. Then, click on Yes to make a confirmation.
