With only a few simple steps, a Linksys range extender can be set up fast and easily. Verify that the extender is correctly connected and turned on as a first step. After that, you can use a computer or a mobile device to join the extender's wireless network. The user manual or the back of the extender both contain the network name and password. You must launch a web browser and go to the extender configuration page after connecting to the extender's network. Enter the IP address of the repeater in the address bar of your browser to achieve this. Both the user handbook and the back of the repeater have the IP address mentioned on them.
Once you have arrived at the setup page, you will be asked to enter your login details. The username and password are typically both "admin". Once logged in, you can follow the directions on the screen to finish the Linksys WiFi extender setup process.
