SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

aha the jumping story...

Well, we've played M:R allot with our clan, and jumping in multiplayer is fun. It isn't a problem there. But single player is another story. All the maps, obstacles, puzzles weren't made with jumping in mind. Same for the psychics in those maps.

If M:R-team want to include jumping in single player, they have to adjust these maps for jumping and that's a difficult task. It aren't a few places in every map, but lots of places. Just look at the Arrival map (the dark maze after the first rooms), there are lots of places where I can jump which were only reachable with a granade jump (or indirect) in the original game. Now, I can just 'jump' through that maze and that's too easy...
