SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: Nice job... (Mark Levin)

I can answer a couple of these... and thanks for the comments.

: -Some of the maps are way too dark. This is usually just
: irritating but makes Arrival and Mars Needs Women
: almost unplayable at some points.

This seems to vary greatly from system to system. on my PC everything looks fine, on my Mac with Radeon it looks a bit bright. I have heard complaints from both ends of the brightness spectrum. Try using the Preferences options and the F11 key in-game to tweak the gamma. Hopefully you'll hit the right balance between bright brights and dark darks.

: -Why on earth is Wrath No More nearly 10Mb when all the
: other maps are around 1 or 2? Not exactly a bug, but
: it struck me as odd.

That would be my fault. i retextured the map at the last minute, and in order to include it in the mod I embedded the textures into the map rather than add them to the existing texture files. In future releases that should be remedied.

What are you doing looking at map sizes anyway? ;-)
