In the first map, in the small corridors after the room where you can see the pfhorship, I can jump in most of the corridors. In the original Marathon, well, it took me allot of time to find out what was the right way. Now its just too easy. Those maps weren't made with jumping in mind, that's the real problem. You'll have to make allot of changes. Another map that comes up in my mind is "colony ship for sale, cheap" The big puzzle with the platforms will be lost, it will be too easy. In the original game, it took me a few hours to get all the platforms right and get up in that room. If you make this mod feel and look like the original, many UT tactics like jumping etc. will be lost and we will be all newbies again in multiplayer.
Honestly, I'm really impressed with the work you guys did for that mod. The maps are awesome, the weapons are awesome. I hope you will lower the gamespeed to 80% and disable jumping. This would give our PCs friends the true Marathon and not a look a like. Making those changes would contribute to gameplay and not kill gameplay. I can only hope that some of your team members played the original Marathon at LAN parties. No jumping and 80% game speed is a whole different world. Its one of the things that made multiplayer so difficult. Another point is that the psychics in those maps were made for gliding through the air, not jumping. You need totally different tactics then UT/q3 to be good.
Please, don't make another standard UT multiplayer game of it...
