well, if you popped a thing with a nade the body did explode, but considering how it was/is sprite based, its kinda hard for there to be blood and guts all over the cooridor... as for blood in M:R, i recall there being plenty spraying about when you shot somethin... especially with the shotgun or MA-75/M-75/AR-75/Whatever else they called it in the game....
