Well, UT2003 floped. But damn, it makes good for modding. I ain't gonna touch Doom III, and if I proceed with anything else it will be on the AtmosFear engine by Action Forms (release Vivisector) which is just made to be modded and adjusted.

Remember: the demo is not a patch on the full game - if you get a chance to play online, it is supurb (especially instagib bombing run).
