Query for the technically minded.

Now I ask for help. Two topics:
1) What is the truncate command (ie 1.345 = 1, 2.9 = 2 etc.) for Uscript.
2) We had a new power input/output put in our machine (yeah, yeah, someone blew it up) and since then, the graphics card has been overheating. I find this unusual (as I forked out an extra $100 for the certified i/o) and was woundering if anyone could shed some light on what the problem is. I have improved performace (tweaks) as much as possible, and are running the latest drivers. However, it escapes me that this is happening. I have even checked the card condition.
Suggestions, please?
