Well, I've never liked the idea of me not being right but in this case I stand corrected. After your post about the sound beeing identical I had to try them myself. So after playing both M1 and M2, testing the rocketlauncher, I must agree that my memory is failing me. (No wonder I'm not getting any younger and it was a time since I played the game)
However, in my mind I still remember the sounds of the old M1 being richer than the M2 and Inf. And the world had better colours as well, better sunsets, more fragrances, prettier girls, and young people had respect for their elders back then....
