Another blind stab:
In the Horrible #4 thread, discussion was made on relating the dots to the TODIE string. Note that in the TODIE line with ROT +1:
BN TODIE KBKHVXF
There are four dots on that line. The mystery string starts on character 3 of that line. 14 (the number of characters in the line) divided by 4 gives us 3.5. 3.5 rounds down to three. Also, isn't it weird that the rotation is the number of sides in the polygon (5) minus the number of dots? Of course this might all be coincidence, and it probably is. BLARG! This is gonna bug me.
Trying it with line 2 (typing as I think here):
5 - 6 = -1 = ROT
14/6 = 2.3333 which rounds down to 2
-1 ROT on line 2:
PTMDHUUSKKXPEGN
Start at second char:
P TMDHUUSKKXPEGN
Well, it was worth a shot ;) BLAAARG! Can anyone see any logic in part of this approach?
