Seeing how most, if not all of us on the team, are game-players as it is, we understand quite well how updates are necessary to keep people interested. We are always in a bit of a bind because things take a long time to get done. Add to the equation the fact that most of the members are scattered around the world, in different timezones, with unique schedules, the fact that one's work needs to be integrated and coordinated with someone else's, the fact that it all needs to be discussed to some extent and the pure and simple fact that everyone is doing this on volunteer time, to me, frankly, it's simply amazing that stuff IS getting done.
Your appreciation and enthusiasm, suggestions and simple interest is primarily what keeps us going and motivated. We try and post on the forums, change polls and the main screen on the webpage on a regular basis so that you realize that we are still here, working hard on bringing our vision to you. The transition to working on single player is now mostly done...aliens are being worked on, levels tweaked, sprites made, code written and rewritten...the wheels are turning..be patient
