SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
to move?"
"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Yea many of us who've delved into UTED or UED who have a Forge backround and experience have had to do quite a bit of "un-learning". Especially when it comes to the Vertices thingy.
I still think Forge was a far easier editor to work with, of course it wasn't a 3D editor, but it had some nice features that I frankly think would have been great additions to Ued, like why is texturing such a pain in Ued. Forge is one of those editors that your grandma could've have used. Of course designing great levels is a different matter. Anyone can use a pencil, but not everyone with a pencil will be able to draw Marvel Comics with it.
I have to agree that the Path node thing is a pain. MAJOR PAIN!!! You can tweak that sucker until forever. Oh yea and dont forget the all important and confusing as hell saran wrap feature "select all inside" tool, did I mention the BSP thingy? hehehe...I totally understand where you're coming from. But like anything, the more you keep messing with it, the easier and more familiar things get. You'll start doing that "Ahhhh" thing when you've figured something out :) Hang in there, from what I've heard, If Wolf can use it Anyone can ;) Now stop your whining and make us some damn kick ass maps already! :)
