SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

How about this then:

Rather than flags or balls or skulls, have those little exploding bugs from the first marathon as the "flag". Also, make them skitter away from the enemy to make it harder to "capture the flag". The only way to "stop" them is to shoot them which temporarily stuns them allowing you to run in and capture them. Once the player has both bugs, they both hook up and a timer starts. The player then
has that much time to throw the bugs like a bomb. The blast radius is big any any player caught within is obliterated. *blah* points for killing a friend, *blah* points for killing a foe.

????

: Your version is really good.

: As you said, the only donwnside is the fact that it's
: harder to score.

: Maybe as one of my suggestion, make the maps in a way it
: is easier to steal the flag by making the place it
: stand harder do defend/block. The inablity to stand
: for too long around the flag and having acces to it
: via various path would help balancing the difficulty
: of scoring a point.

: Thanks Grasshopper, now I already want to play it ;-)
