I'm a big enough CTF fan that I wouldn't mind adding a CTF mode to MR. (I've actually got an unrelated and unreleased CTF mod, that I was working on earlier this year, sitting on my hard drive somewhere)
Thing is, I don't really see the use in doing so if all it's going to be is regular UT CTF with MR weapons -- it kind of misses the point of MR being a complete gametype mod. I'd like for MRCTF to have some twist to it that makes it different from other CTF modes.
So I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how MRCTF should work, be it either how Bungie themselves would have implemented it, or some other kind of Marathonesque twist. The better the ideas are, the better chance this has of actually being seen through. Thanks.
