We've implemented this feature in Rampancy for both the pistol and the SMG. It's a freakin blast! I was originally against any sniper-like weapons because I thought it would screw up the delicately balanced gameplay. But the fact is that trying to snipe in Marathon is perilous to one's health (especially if ya can't watch the motion sensor while you're doing it.) Sniping ends up being a two way street.

I've been playing some Res style Marathon lately just to touch base. Lots of fun! Haven't seen any names I know on the servers though.

BTW, the SMG kicks ass. I think the shotguns could use a little wider spread, but that's just my personal opinion.
