I don't understand the "cross-platform" aspect of the project. They want to port it to the Win32 platform ... why? all the editors are already on windows for cryin' out loud (aaah!)
It's not as if the editor can be generic enough to make maps for each game title -- the engine is severely overhauled for each title that is developed. you couldn't possibly make a single editor that could make UT, Unreal, The Fallen, Undying, and all the rest.
I do, however, hope that they succeed in making at least the UT editor on the Mac.
The only thing, though, is that they hate Mac OS X and Cocoa. Fools.
