: Grenades don't leave burn marks.
Hadn't noticed that. If they don't leave decals they will soon.
: In Beyond Thunderdome, if you fire rockets into the air,
: they detonate against an invisible ceiling.
Currently in Tdome you can lift jump up onto the bridge and also run around the edges. The disadvantage to staying up on the bridge is that you don't get many shots in and you're exposed to a wie area when you're looking over the edge. The disadvantage to running around the edges is that you're waaaay vulnerable to splash damage from SPNKR shots that hit the 'sky' near you. If you want a real sky box I'm going to have to prevent you from going up there.
: House of Pain does the same thing except that the ceiling
: is low enough to hit your head on and the splash from
: an explosive fired into to what's apparently sky can
: kill you.
There is a new version of this map (not yet released) that fixes the low ceiling. HoP now will have a *real* skybox. Also, the lighting has been changed from twilight to tea time.
: Also on House of Pain: where's the grenade ammo?
I set up the ammo counts and frequencies exactly like the original - or at least I tried to (the only thing missing is the health power-up). I may have screwed up the grenades (like the shotguns on E=MC - but that's a whole other story). I'll look into it.
: House of Pain has low gravity for some reason.
No, the gravity is the same as on all the other maps (except maybe for Wrath).
: The flame from the flame thrower isn't very billowy.
Perhaps you're not using enough fabric softener? :-)
