SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Marathon: Resurrection Forum

And some more

In Response To: A bunch of little suggestions and questions (Dan Rudolph)

Grenades don't leave burn marks.

In Beyond Thunderdome, if you fire rockets into the air, they detonate against an invisible ceiling.

House of Pain does the same thing except that the ceiling is low enough to hit your head on and the splash from an explosive fired into to what's apparently sky can kill you.

Also on House of Pain: where's the grenade ammo?

House of Pain has low gravity for some reason.

The rockets are pretty bland looking.

More specific on shotguns: If you're holding two and fire until you run out of ammo in one, hitting that trigger won't do anything more. Even if you pick up more ammo, it won't do anything. The only way to fix it is to switch to another weapon and switch back.

The clip counter includes the clip in your weapon. IMHO, this doesn't make sense. Marathon doesn't do it this and I can't think of any games that do.

The flame from the flame thrower isn't very billowy.
