Bright blue colors are taken out... Not so much because aliens might not use em, but because it's hard to be scared of something in bright blue and purple... We'll be pursuing something distinctly different, and yet very similar to the way Evil and the original Thon scared us so well. To scare somebody well, it takes a combined buildup and release of tension across the senses, not just color. Look for something a bit more complex then different colored uniforms in the upcoming months.
And no, nothing is going to become a degenerate mess of nastiness in this game either.
