SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Overall I agree with CyberBob's post. There are a few things I noticed that he didnt mention however:

- The pistols shoot a tad slower than the original ones, and the firing rate remains the same even if you have two

- Weapon damage is like half of what was in original marathon. I've escaped spanker blasts several times only being damaged d: Maybe have a damage scaler built in

- There doesnt feel like theres enough ammo around, especially with the reduced damage. Also I think there should be an option to allow players to "unload" weapons on the ground for their ammo (not faithful to marathon, but it would ease the ammo problem)

- The deaths are third-person. This is purely aesthetic, but it is more fun to fly across the level after being spanked first-person instead of watching your body fly (its also how marathon did it)

- The SPNKR impact is using the wussy UT rocket blast sound. Marathon's is MUCH better, imho :)
