SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Fascinatingly... Not.

UT uses global physics, meaning that everything works according to the same laws of physics...

In Marathon though, this was not true. The laws of physics were written for the player, and then revised for the projectiles and the like. Heh. Local physics. Nothing really obeys any Laws in Marathon, they operate at the quantum level, defining their own probable path and following it...

If Captain has the inclination, he'll tell you about it some more, it's pretty funky.
